Crystal C. is a single mother of Brent (5) and Caleb (8). They used to live in a mobile home that is now severely damaged. She cannot move back in with her children until it is fixed. "We are having to live at my parents right now, which is a problem because my father is a disabled Vietnam veteran who was badly injured in Vietnam and really needs some peace at his house. All I want is a better life for my children. I work as a Store Cashier but my days of work have been cut from 5 days a week to 3 days a week. I am now looking for a second job but with barely any money for gas and for other basics it is hard to even get to the interviews. I don't have anyone to turn for help. That is why I am reaching out to this amazing site GiveLocally.net. We will use any help we receive to fix our mobile home and move back in. If I can get a second job I will be able to take care of the kids as a single mother. I really want to thank you for this opportunity." Update: A month ago Crystal lost her mother to lung cancer, she is still struggling with low income and a lot of health issues.
