Rick V. has been in the work force for over 30 years. “I've worked as a Beverage Service Technician for the last 7 years and as of November of 2010, I lost my job. I have been struggling ever since trying to stay afloat. I have 5 kids and have never shirked my responsibility for their support. Fortunately 4 of them live in Montana and are grown and doing well. However my youngest daughter, Alexandra (6), is not so lucky. She is autistic and has special needs. I would give my life for her to be normal. I can see it in her eyes that she wants to be normal., but there is nothing I can do except show her all the love and attention I can give her. My problem is my unemployment is about to run out, and I will then become homeless and my daughter will lose all of her support. I am riddled with worry and guilt that if I lose everything my daughter will soon follow, and I just don't know what to do. If I had my rent caught up I could at least have a couple more months to try and get back to work. I have never seen the economy like this before. Any help your organization could give me, I would be so grateful. "Every day of every week I look for a job.
