Deborahe R. is a single Veteran mom who served our country from 1979-1982. She was a military police and was awarded for her humanitarian services for working with the Cuban refugees of that time. She is disabled due to rare immune system disorders, and lives with her 14 year old teenage son Steven on a fixed income. “Things are tough and I\'ve fallen behind on my bills and rent due to my disability. I do not receive any public assistance or even get child support. My son was injured in football practice at his school in September of last year and was out of school till January this year due to his brain injury. I have had to spend lots of extra money on doctors and gas to get my son to brain metronome therapy 3 days a week. I have had to take out loans to buy groceries and also go to a local food pantry once a month for help. We need help paying our back rent, utilities and gas and grocery cards would also be a God send. Thanks so much for your help and God bless all the people from GiveLocally”.
