Gary (36) and Melissa (35) B. are the proud parents of Mark (5) and Jacob (13 months). Gary is a hard worker who has a Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration & Global Management. Gary was the sole wage earner for the family and Melissa a stay at home mom to avoid the high costs of day care. For the past 10 years, Gary has been working in payroll, tax compliance, and finance along with supporting operations for a popular Central Florida destination, and local running events. On October 27, 2011, he lost his job. Gary has been searching for work relentlessly but just like so many, finding work has become a big challenge and so is trying to pay for the monthly bills. Both he and his wife enjoy volunteering at different events that benefit others. Melissa has been a stay at home Mom for the last 6 years but before that she was a Postal Carrier for the United States Postal Service and also was working in daycare facilities. Having two kids their current situation is really hard. "We have never been in this position we are worried and getting really frustrated. Any amount -- and believe me when I say this -- any amount will help, but mostly it will help our kids. If anyone can help our family bridge the gap between jobs to ensure we can keep our home & car, we would be forever grateful."
They need: $1000 rent assistance; $1500 bill assistance; $1000 basic needs
