Berenice is the mother of Lucy (3 months) and Diego (2.5 years old). Her husband works at a local Japanese restaurant but all of the money he earns goes towards their bills and rent. Berenice is a stay at home mom. "We hardly have enough money to buy our kids what they need and for the basic needs. It makes me so sad that we don't have enough money to provide for our kids. Me and my husband feel so bad every time we go to the store and Diego asks us to buy something for him there has not been a time in his short life that we have said yes to any of his requests. It really breaks our hearts. I am one of GiveLocally's Facebook followers and have been on the site and read about all the amazing things you have done for families in our same situation.
