Santrel S. is a single mother of four talented and bright children: Sionne, 18, loves journalism and is an intern for a magazine; Brian, 15, loves music and wants to be a composer/producer; Staci, 11, loves to learn and is a talented athlete; and Kye, 2, even though he's just starting to talk, he loves to read. Santrel works part-time as a caregiver and attends school full-time, working towards a degree in Human Relations. "I am asking for assistance with Sionne's graduation fees. She will be graduating on May 26, 2012 and is planning to attend Syracuse University in the Fall of 2012. She will be majoring in Journalism. My job is the only income that we have. They have cut my hours of work and it is hard to pay bills and buy the basic needs for my children. We are a very humble family and would appreciate any assistance.GiveLocally.net, what you are doing for all of the families is amazing. I wish in the near future I will be on the other side of the story and able to help one of these families. Thank you in advance.” UPDATE: Sionne chose to attend Virginia Union University and attended the summer bridge program she will be returning on January 2013. As for Santrel, she finally got a full time job with a Law Firm and she is still the only income they have and provider for her kids.
