Dontavia F. is a single mother of 3 beautiful girls all under 5 (Anjilika 4, Jazmine 2, and Azayleah 10 months). "I am in desperate need of support for myself and my children. It all started when I moved into our own apartment. I was very excited, however to stay in this place I would need assistance from others. My income is not enough to pay rent and have money for the basic needs of my children. I have fallen behind in my rental payments and received a 60-day notice. I receive assistance from the state but it is still not enough to pay bills and buy food. I struggle a lot to get through day by day. I was in the foster care program for a long time, and I do not want my kids to go through all the difficulties I went through. I have no family that can help me out, I am about to get evicted, and it is so hard for me to get a job because I have no transportation to get to interviews and of course no money for daycare, I really, really need help.
