Yecennia and Peter have two kids: Evan (7) and Jonathan (12). Until recently, Peter was healthy and regularly visited his doctors for check-ups. Last year, Peter and Yecennia decided to take a much-needed motorcycle road trip, which included 5 States. It was the best vacation they ever had. However, something didn't seem right throughout the trip; Peter felt sick all the time, had severe night sweats, and everything he ate did not settle well in his stomach. He became pale and rapidly lost weight. When they returned home, Yecennia urged Peter to go to the Urgent Care Center near their home. To their surprise, Peter was told he was close to renal failure. They rushed to the local hospital and after two scans, the doctors found a large mass in Peter's abdominal area and between his lungs. On August 4, 2010, Peter was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. "Both of us were speechless, we didn't know how this had happened. I now must take care of my two kids and my husband. We are both unemployed and have so many medical bills and rent to pay, we are out of our retirement money and do not know what to do. I found GiveLocally searching for local help. Really any amount would be very appreciated. God bless all of you for creating such an amazing organization."

They need: $1000 Rent Assistance; $1000 Medical assistance; $1000 for children's necessities
